Dockside
For most of the year, the S.S. Virginia V is docked on the southern bank of Lake Union. Our homeport is easy to find behind the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) just past the antique steam clock.
City Waterways
Short cruises (usually 1-2 hours) are a great way to view Seattle from the inside. Departing from our homeport on Lake Union, we can travel down the ship canal to Ballard’s Crittenden Locks or east into Lake Washington. Guests are always treated to awesome views of the neighborhoods surrounding downtown.
Puget Sound
All-day cruises take guests through the Crittenenden Locks in Ballard and into the open waters of Elliott Bay and Puget Sound. Spectacular views of the Seattle skyline and short cruises to Bainbridge Island, Vashon Island and Shilshole Marina are not uncommon. Once or twice a year, guests have joined us for longer excursions south to Olympia and Tacoma or north to Port Townsend and Vancouver, British Columbia.
