Salish Waterlines: A MOHAI public cruise

Explore the native history of Seattle’s waterways with Muckleshoot Tribe Historian, Warren King George, aboard the SS VIRGINIA V.

Learn about Coast Salish peoples’ traditional and current uses of Lake Union’s abundant natural resources and the ecosystem’s resiliency in the face of urban sprawl.

All tickets include a complimentary tasting of smoked salmon.

Itinerary:

  • 7:00 pm- Vessel Opens/Boarding Begins
  • 7:30 pm- Vessel Departs
  • 9:30- Vessel Returns

 

Lake Union/Lake Washington

Short cruises (usually 2-3 hours) are a great way to view Seattle from the inside. Whether we travel down the ship canal to Ballard’s Chittenden Locks or east into Lake Washington, guests are treated to awesome views of neighborhoods surrounding downtown.
