Working Waterfronts: A History Cruise

MOHAI and the VIRGINIA V are proud to offer a special evening cruise through Lake Union’s shipbuilding history.

Enjoy lively commentary from nautical narrator Joshua Heath while passing by icons of Seattle’s historic and contemporary working waterfront. Examine up close the tools used to create and repair boats and chat with local shipwrights.

Beer, wine and snacks will be available for purchase on board the vessel. VIRGINIA V and MOHAI members receive 10% off snacks and drinks at the bar.

  • 1:30 pm- Vessel Opens/Boarding Begins
  • 2:00 pm- Vessel Departs
  • 4:00- Vessel Returns

Lake Union/Lake Washington

Short cruises (usually 2-3 hours) are a great way to view Seattle from the inside. Whether we travel down the ship canal to Ballard’s Chittenden Locks or east into Lake Washington, guests are treated to awesome views of neighborhoods surrounding downtown.
