Centennial Commemoration Cruise

One way from Elliott Bay Marina in Seattle to Foss Waterway Seaport in Tacoma via West Pass (west side of Vashon Island).

Join the crew of VIRGINIA V in recreating the ship’s original route between Seattle and Tacoma. We’ll be giving a whistle salute to all the places along the Vashon and Kitsap Peninsula shoreline where there were once tiny communities served by VIRGINIA V. And of course we’ll pass Camp Sealth and salute the campers and staff. Our docents will be aboard to tell you about the history of the ship and its importance to the growth of our region during the golden age of the Mosquito Fleet on Puget Sound.

You will be responsible for arranging your return transportation to Seattle. We will be in touch with ticketed passengers as we get closer to the day of the cruise with more details. Snacks, soft drinks, beer and wine will be available for purchase aboard the vessel.  You are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch.
